Thursday July 15, 2010 Akomplice Debuting Spring/Summer '11 Collections at Agenda HB

Akomplice

The Akomplice movement has been growing and gaining momentum since its inception six years ago. Pushing the limits of where clothing has gone before is in the DNA of Akomplice. Their latest catalog is no exception as they introduce their appropriately titled Spring/Summer 2011 line, “The Summer of Love: The New World Order” at Agenda Huntington Beach.

Akomplice offers two lines of clothing: the AK line and the more mature VSOP line. The spring/summer AK deliveries are infused with social commentary and the classic Akomplice wit. While the VSOP collection keeps progressing with the idea of mashing up classic items with a bit of today’s street twist. A perfect example of this is Akomplice’s wool peacoat that comes with a detachable hood. “The Summer of Love: The New World Order” will undoubtedly be one of the most exiting collections to view at Agenda this August.

“Make a revolution in anything you do.”

Thursday July 15, 2010 INSIGHT Returns to Agenda With It's Spring/Summer 2011 Collections

Insight

Our Men’s collection is more the attitude of Grunge and the whole youth movement than Grunge itself. Moving outta the Woodstock of the 70’s and bringing it to the streets. Not being a pussy, sex in dive-bar bathrooms, denim and binging, and all that good stuff. This don’t give a fuck attitude and nonchalant styling is reflected through the collections use of subtle animal prints on denim, washed-out colours, D.I.Y. cut-off denim shorts and vintage-feel oversized tees.

Our Women’s collection takes on an early 90’s grunge attitude, mashed up with military derangement all taken down the road less travelled. Tees are worn, denim’s distressed, silhouettes are sex’ed up and pretty prints are toughened via unjustified layering. Each piece worn, loved with a story to tell.
